Why Ian practises this way
Before becoming a chiropractor, Ian had his own experience with chronic lower back pain. The strange part was that it felt so normal at the time that he did not even realise it was pain.
That changed after a chiropractic intern pointed it out and helped him make sense of what was going on. Chiropractic care helped, but it also made Ian realise something important: feeling better after treatment is useful, but it is not the whole picture.
If the same habits, movement patterns, training load, work stress, or recovery problems keep pulling the body back into the same cycle, repeated treatment alone may not be enough. That experience shaped how Ian now works with patients: proper assessment first, practical care second, and patient education throughout.
